PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PROGRAMS – FEEL THE DRUM BEAT: DRUMMING AND DANCING

Drumming & dancing helps reduce stress and helps us connect our body, mind and spirit, creating balance. Learn traditional Nlaka’pamux drum beats and songs. Bring your own hand drum and enthusiasm and share your knowledge. Pow wow dancing is very active! Put on your dancing shoes and start moving to the drum beat.Visitors welcome to watch and feel the energy.

ElderAction is a program for Elders (50+) to get active and stay active to improve health and overall well-being. These are our spring offerings. New offerings will added for the summer. If you are younger than 50, you are welcome to attend.

The program leaders are Sooyeon Zacharias, Community Activity Coordinator and Judith Urquhart, Program Coordinator.
